Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day! We had a nice weekend. Mom and Dad went to New York to visit Aunt Karen and see her in a play. Grandma Laura came to stay with Natalie and Owen, and they were very well behaved! Natalie was a very good helper for Grandma. We had a quiet Mother's Day - Mom got some nice presents, and we all relaxed after a busy weekend. Karen's play was great and the weather in New York was beautiful. We've still been busy with house stuff, but we've managed to do some fun stuff too. A couple weekends ago, Natalie had a stomach bug which kept us housebound on Saturday, but we were able to get out and play on Sunday. Last weekend, we went to a Crawfish Festival and enjoyed some good Louisiana food - Natalie and Owen are big fans like Mom and Dad! Natalie and Owen also each rode a pony, and they got some Mardi Gras beads. We also went to the neighborhood playground, and as always, had trouble getting Natalie and Owen to leave. They are such good buddies - they are always playing together. Of course there are occasional skirmishes, but those are always resolved with a little ring-around-the-rosy. Owen is perfecting his stair climbing skills - you have to watch or he'll be halfway up the stairs in no time! And, as is pretty obvious from the pictures, we are expecting Baby #3 for those who don't already know. No news on the sex yet!
