Natalie is 3!!!

Natalie's 3rd birthday was Friday (the 2nd), and we did plenty of celebrating. Mom made cupcakes for her class at school and they sang to her there, and then we went out for dinner to Carrabba's (at Natalie's request) on Friday night. The Carrabba's waiters came to sing to Natalie and she was a little shy (even after Mom warned her that strangers might come to sing). Afterward as she was digging in to her ice cream sundae, she kept asking, "Where are the strangers?" Grandma Laura came to visit, arriving on Thursday. Aunt Karen came out Friday night, and Natalie had the first round of present opening. Owen got some presents too, so he wouldn't be left out (and he'd be occupied with something so as not to get into Nat's new stuff!).

On Saturday, we had her birthday party at Gymboree, and lots of Natalie's friends came. They all had a great time, and no one wanted it to end. Then when we got home, it was time to open MORE presents. You'd have thought it was Christmas at our house with all of the presents everywhere (but they were all for Natalie!). Sunday was a low-key day, recovering from the birthday festivities, and getting ready for the Super Bowl. Mom and Dad also had a lot of stuff to do because we put our house on the market over the weekend. Things are moving fast! Dad heads to Houston the beginning of March. We are going to go down soon for a house hunting trip. So much going on!
