January Recap

January has flown by and here we are getting ready for Natalie's big day tomorrow. I thought I'd post a recap of January before it's time to report on her birthday festivities. We had some really cold weather at the beginning of the month and it was a good time to play with all of the new Christmas presents since we were cooped up inside. Natalie and I had fun with her crystal growing kit. I thought she looked so cute in her safety glasses. Ike has had a few work trips, including a trip to London - he flew on the company's corporate jet to Dublin, and then travelled on to London. He also ran the marathon in the middle of the month. We were waiting between mile 21 and 22 to cheer him on. He did an awesome job and we're very proud of him. Owen apparently is a heartthrob at school and has little girls fighting over who will marry him (according to reports from their moms). He's been enjoying time with his buddy Katherine and he informed Ike that she is his girlfriend (we've learned that Gracie is moving to Calgary). I've included a picture of them at her birthday party. Colin turned two months old and got a great report at his doctor's visit. He took his shots like a champ. It looks like he will be long and lean like big bro Owen - he was 50th percentile for weight and 80th percentile for length. The doctor said he's on par with the average 3 month old for height. He's such a sweetie and full of smiles and laughs for us. He's staying awake a lot more during the day and going for 6-7 hour blocks at night, so that's been very nice for us.
