Natalie & Owen's Great Weekend

More pictures to come from Owen's soccer and T-ball games and other weekend activities, but I wanted to post video from Natalie's gymnastics and Owen's first soccer goal. Natalie did her round off back handspring on Friday night! And Owen had a fabulous first soccer game - he scored three goals (his team won 5-0)! He also had a great T-ball game - he had an unassisted double play at shortstop, when he got runners out at 2nd and 3rd base! What a weekend!

Birthday Boys

September is a busy month for us with Owen and Henry's birthdays. We finished up August, settling into the school routine and all of the new extracurricular things the kids are doing. Natalie has hip hop dance class, gymnastics team, swimming, cheerleading, and ballet. Owen has swimming, T-ball, and soccer. Henry has gymnastics, and he's taking a Spanish class and music class. So I need a couple of clones to get everybody where they need to be on the right days. And still work for MMG. We had a visit from Owen's great buddy Gracie and her family a few weeks ago. They moved to Calgary in March and Owen has missed her very much. It was very nice to see them. Gracie's little sister Hadley is Henry's age and they were in school together too, so they enjoyed the visit as well.
September has been crazy from the start. After Labor Day, we went right into Owen's 5th b-day celebrations. My BBF Lindsey came to visit from Indiana, and we had a great time. Then all of the grandparents came for Owen's birthday weekend. It was fun. We had his party with his friends at the Health Museum, and I think they all enjoyed it. Then we went to Kemah on Sunday for rides and fun. It was hot and that was exhausting. We wrapped up the weekend with Henry at the ER getting 5 stitches in his forehead - just in time for his birthday!! (He and Owen had a scuffle over a balloon, and Henry's head hit the doorframe.) He was a trooper though! For H's 3rd birthday it was just us. We had a busy Saturday, with Natalie serving as a squadron leader at a gymnastics meet and Owen playing his first T-ball game of the season. But we had presents and cake that evening. Then on Sunday we went to the Downtown Aquarium for rides and to see the exhibits. It was fun (and close by)! Henry had more presents to open and he kept us entertained with his many faces. I think he had a great weekend. We are looking forward to some cool weather, hopefully soon.
