Halloween and Other Stuff

The past few weekends have been busy with Halloween activities and birthday parties, and we've been trying to get ready for Colin as well. A couple weekends ago we went to Zoo Boo at the Houston zoo with some friends of ours. All of the kids had a good time, and had their first trick or treating of the season. The following week was "bring your parent to PE class" at Natalie's school, so Ike & I both went. It was fun, and fun to watch Natalie at school. The next weekend was the Fall carnival at Natalie's school. Since Ike & I are the environmental chairs for the PTA, we were responsible for providing water and recycling. Ike did all the hard work, and he and Natalie stayed all day to manage those responsibilities. I fortunately had nap duty with the boys!!! That weekend Natalie went to a birthday party at a rollerskating rink. I sent Ike to that one since I didn't think a very-pregnant woman on rollerskates was a good idea. I think both Ike & Nat fell a few times, but they had fun. Natalie was able to wear her costume to ballet class that week, and they put on a little Halloween dance for the parents. Then last weekend was Halloween of course. Ike took trick or treating with the kids this year and I stayed home to pass out candy. And we ran out of candy again. Which is a good thing, so I don't eat it all. Our witch, Superman, and Yoda had fun. Owen had his last T-ball game last weekend; they finished with a winning record and we are looking forward to the Spring season. Natalie also had another birthday party last weekend, this one at the park so it was close to home. This past week was parent observation day at Natalie's ballet class. That was fun to watch. Natalie is doing great and learning so much. Owen & Henry's school carnival was supposed to be last weekend, but was rescheduled for tonight since the weather was supposed to be horrible (it wasn't). One more time for the Halloween costumes, then they'll go to the dress up bins. I've also included a picture of me at 36 weeks - almost there!!
